Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev stated this during a meeting with students in Shymkent.

«You can’t be limited to one of the Kazakh language, it’s a mistake. If you want to have a future, you need to speak three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. Representatives of the older generation against trilingualism – means they are against the future of their children. Today, maybe it is not necessary, but tomorrow will be needed. If, for example, you are studying for the doctor, then there will be technology in English or Russian languages, what will you do then? Actually, I would say that Russian language is happiness, the time given to us by God. Now we can all speak Russian, we are fluent in two languages. Now we need to learn the third, that’s what the President says! The young people will have a great future, if they will learn three languages at school», - said the head of government .
