On October 10-12 the National scientific and practical center «Til-Kazyna» named after Shaisultan Shayakmetov of the Committee of language policy of Ministry of culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to implement the State program for the development and functioning of languages for 2011-2020 will be held a republican seminar «The future of Kazakhstan in the Kazakh language» aimed at promoting the development of the state language in Karatau city of Talas district, village Kulan in Ruskul district of Zhambyl region and Taraz city.

The purpose of event is to discuss and exchange views on expansion the status of Kazakh language as a state language, expanding the horizon of national identity, discuss the relevance of transition of Kazakh alphabet to the Latin script, outdated geographical renaming.

The working group includes famous political, public figures, scientists and representatives of local executive bodies. The event will be attended by a member of Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, politician, honored worker of Kazakhstan Dos Koshim, politologist Rasul Zhumaly, director of research center Dulattanu of Taraz state university named after M.Kh. Dulati, doctor of philological sciences, professor Samen Kulbarak, head of department of language development of Zhambyl region Sulushash Kurmanbekova and heads of regional media.

The event will be attended by more than 700 people, including representatives of intellectuals, members of ethnic and cultural associations, working youth, students of higher educational institutions and colleges and others.
