The Department of Language Development of Pavlodar region held the round table “Language – the support of Independence” in the conference hall of the House of Friendship on December 12,2017 within the program «Рухани жаңғыру». It was dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The heads of the ethnic and cultural associations, representatives of the non-governmental organizations, members of the Pavlodar regional branch of the International Society «Қазақ тілі», young people who know the state language as well as the winners of the republican competitions took part in it.

Participants of the meeting discussed topical issues of implementation of the state language policy, development of the Kazakh language and language ethnic groups. Aitenov S., chairman of the Pavlodar regional branch of the International society «Қазақ тілі», Lodochnikova A., winner of the project “100 new faces of Kazakhstan”, Amrenova E., representative of the youth development initiatives center of the region, young akyn reported there. They also watched the video “Kazakhstan. Chronicle of Independence”.

Congratulating the participants of the meeting on Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the Department of Language Development of of the region Osmanov S.G. has noted that peace and harmony are undoubtedly one of the most important achievements of our country during the years of Independence. Thanks to the policy of the state, Kazakhstan people speak their native languages, preserve their culture and traditions.

The results of the dictation in the state language were announced there. Winners of the dictation of the republican competitions were awarded with letters of thanks and prizes.
