“Kily zaman” is work of first years of creative activity of M. Auezov. In spite of this, the whole ability of the writer was demonstrated in it. Thoughts and feelings of the writer about characters, who fought against honor and dignity of Kazakh nation during critical period and complicated political situation, were presented in the novel. There was no such work in soviet literature, which could depict harmful policy of colonialist government on high level not only for Kazakh people, but for people, which were its colonies, and even for the whole humanity.
